Today we celebrate the 323rd anniversary of the birth of Marguerite d’Youville. In addition to being the first Canadian-born saint, she was the foundress and inspiration for the congregation of the Grey Nuns of Montreal. Here is a gouache on cardboard by Sister Flore Barrette illustrating the happy occasion.
