Today is the 30th anniversary of the canonization of Saint Marguerite d’Youville and the 10th anniversary of the transfer of her mortal remains to the Basilica of Saint Anne of Varennes. A compassionate and deeply pious woman, Marguerite d’Youville inspired several generations of Grey Nuns who followed in her footsteps. Today, her values of kindness, empathy and solidarity continue to inspire women and men around the world.
