International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we present to you an Edmonton project of the Grey Nuns, the La Salle Residence. Founded in 1987, this residence helped women and children who were victims of domestic violence by offering 9 short and medium-term transitional apartments. Support services in a safe, caring environment helped families regain control of their lives.
