International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We highlight the work of the Grey Nuns with the visually impaired at Institut Nazareth in Montreal. Here’s a Braille map used by teachers in geography class. At the Centre St-Amant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the congregation has worked with dedication and compassion with severely disabled children.
