{"id":5008,"date":"2021-06-25T14:15:30","date_gmt":"2021-06-25T18:15:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgm.qc.ca\/uncategorized\/international-social-work-day\/"},"modified":"2021-06-25T14:15:34","modified_gmt":"2021-06-25T18:15:34","slug":"international-social-work-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgm.qc.ca\/en\/uncategorized\/international-social-work-day\/","title":{"rendered":"International Social Work Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On this International Social Work Day, we wish to highlight the fundamental contribution of the Grey Nuns of Montreal to Quebec and Canadian society, through the foundation and administration of hundreds of social works and missions.<\/p>\n<p>For 282 years, the Grey Nuns of Montreal have been helping the poor, the sick, orphans, women in need and the elderly.<\/p>\n<p>From the Constitutions of 1781 (3<sup>rd<\/sup> part, preface) recalling this social mission of the Grey Nuns:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;
