{"id":5315,"date":"2018-08-03T15:02:10","date_gmt":"2018-08-03T19:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgm.qc.ca\/uncategorized\/camp-massabielle-1953-1964\/"},"modified":"2022-01-25T15:04:02","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T20:04:02","slug":"camp-massabielle-1953-1964","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgm.qc.ca\/en\/uncategorized\/camp-massabielle-1953-1964\/","title":{"rendered":"Camp Massabielle (1953-1964)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 1953 to 1964, Camp Massabielle welcomed the orphans of the H\u00f4pital du Christ-Roi in Nicolet during the summer vacations.<\/p>\n<p>Covering an area of three and a half by six acres, this summer camp was built at the end of the land of the M\u00e9tairie Saint-Joseph, which was located near the H\u00f4tel-Dieu. The land was cleared and the shrubs cut down to prepare a ball field and playgrounds for the girls and boys. A pond was also dug for the children to swim in.
