International Day of Education is an opportunity to highlight the work of the nuns at the Grey Nuns Family Institute. Located at the Mother House, this institute was in operation from 1905 to 1964, first offering training in housework, then in more academic subjects. In 1961, the total number of students who attended the Family Institute was 2792, of whom 266 entered religion.<\/span><\/p>\n
